Mon chat

With all the carry on restrictions and my very nomadic way of life, I had to reach the conclusion that my cat had to be adopted. She found a great match and we hope all the parties involved will live happily ever after. It was a difficult decision to make and this is the last photo I took of her. I have the impression that she knew that something was "cooking".

Le musee des Arts forains de Bercy

Last May we took an afternoon trip to the Musee des Arts forains in Bercy (Metro Cours Saint Emilion on Line 14). It was all arranged by Anne from T.A.
We had fun and mostly we all admired the beautiful collection of fair artifacts.
The tour guide managed to make us leap back in time when fairs attracted a lot of people (adults - fairs were not for children). This was before automobiles and travel and some of the rides provided chills in speed never experienced before.

Painterly Montmartre

Playing with photoshop, I tried one of the painterly filters on this Montmartre image and was pleased with results.
