Soul food

A good French Gateau always does the trick.

Seasonal asperges des Landes (with a purple hint of color) are a close second to me.
I love them!

100

For my 100th photo on this blog I decided to be traditional with an other image of Steve and Kelly on their honeymoon or a cool morning on Pont des Arts with beautiful Ile de la Cite in the background.

Tutus

Repetto rue de la Paix but also this store on rue Faubourg Saint Honore have the most beautiful danse outfits. You can only go there and dream if not purchasing for that special person in your family.

Who remembers Monsieur Colignon, the mean shop owner in Le Fabuleux destin d'Amelie Poulain today?

Being a cat lover I could not go by this window without taking a photo. Then you can see the real loved ones.

Spring

After a cold March and a cool April, leaves and flowers are finally coming out. Even the skinny trees on boulevard Haussmann are a feast to look at.
This was late afternoon last week with the sun coming from behind - backlighting - (and straight into my lense - that's why I had to go for shelter under the store across the street).

They are engaged!

Patrick and Brittany allowed me to share these photos, so I am taking the opportunity to wish them well in public. They were a joy to work with and their love, energy and happiness was a real delight. You can click on each photo to enlarge them.

Coffee break

I saw this scene while walking by Fouquet's and loved everything about it including the painted decor on the wall and the tree trunk.
