Nostalgic

I am working on wedding photos and was scanning a photo of the bride's grandmother when she was young - probably same age as bride is today- Those old photo are so special. I faded and blurred the image a little bit as this grandma is no longer with us.

Bride's dog

Today I photographed Max who is rehearsing for his mom's wedding.
He - and we - had fun all the way through the shoot.
Max is a good sport!

Concorde

This is a metro stop I go to often.
The letters that cover the entire wall spell the declaration of independance

Cows again

This is what I saw when I walked out of the metro (T) yesterday!
After Paris, Boston is invaded!

Art nouveau

There are many doors that I love in Paris. This one on Avenue Bosquet is a favorite.

Fireworks 2006

IMO they were not a good vintage.
None of the spectacular firing from the tower (see yesterday's picture).
It was still a good outing. Not a memorable one.

Column at Place de la Bastille is all decorated for le 14 juillet. Notice the blue sky.

Good thing you cannot feel the heat!

Late afternoon light is hitting the entrance of Archives Nationales where Alvin Ailey's company is performing for 3 weeks in July.

Show is in huge courtyard at 21:45.

14 juillet

I took this photo last year but I will take more tonight.
It is beautiful in Paris and it is going to be a hot night!

July 5th in Paris

An other hot day in Paris!

Decided to go to cinema with A/C. You get a nice breeze by canal Saint Martin as well.

Early evening gathering for France-Portugal game.

This young fan looks like he'd rather be somewhere else?
